1. Personal protection
Wearing gloves: When operating an electric winch, you should wear appropriate gloves. The gloves should not be loose and should not have open wire ends to prevent being tripped by machine parts or debris, and also prevent your hands from being burned or scratched by ropes or cables.
Wearing safety equipment: In specific application environments, such as off-road vehicle rescue or industrial environments, you may need to wear additional safety equipment, such as helmets, protective glasses, etc.

2. Use of winches and ropes
Check the winch: Before and after use, check the looseness of the winch mounting bolts and the wear of the winch rope to ensure that the electric winch is in good working condition.
Rope protection: Avoid mutual wear between the winch rope and sharp objects such as stones. If necessary, use a rope protective cover to protect the rope to prevent damage to the rope.
Correct winding: When operating the cable, ensure that the cable is evenly wound on the drum and at least 5 turns are stored to prevent the cable from loosening from the drum when under heavy load.

3. Anchor point and connection
Choose an anchor point: When rescuing a vehicle, you should find a firm and reliable place in the vehicle as an anchor point to ensure stability. If you choose a tree as a fixing point, you should wrap the tree with a tree hugging belt to avoid damaging the bark and ensure a firm connection.
Correct connection: Ensure that the connection between the electric winch rope or cable and the anchor point is firm and reliable to avoid falling off or breaking during towing.

4. Operation precautions
Avoid overload use: Do not overload the electric winch, otherwise it will cause irreparable damage to the winch. The appropriate load should be selected according to the pull range of the winch.
Pay attention to the motor temperature: During or after use, the surface temperature of the motor is high, so do not touch it. The motor may smoke when it is first used, but it will gradually disappear. If the motor is found to be abnormally hot or smoking, it should be stopped immediately and the cause should be checked.
Remote control operation: When using the remote control device, no one except the operator should approach the winch. At the same time, the remote control device should be installed only when it is actually used and removed when not in use. Keep a certain distance during operation to prevent injuries caused by cable breakage.
Avoid long-term continuous use: To protect the motor, the winch should not be used continuously for a long time, generally not more than one minute. If it needs to be used for a long time, the winch should be allowed to cool down properly before continuing to use it.

5. Emergency treatment
Equipment abnormality treatment: If the equipment is found to be abnormal, such as deformation, damage or severe wear of the rope, short circuit of the remote control wire, etc., it should be stopped immediately and the cause should be checked. The winch should not be used again until the problem is solved.
Emergency stop: During the operation of the electric winch, if an emergency or dangerous situation occurs, the emergency stop button should be pressed immediately or the power supply should be disconnected to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
